Basketball Summer Team League

2024 Summer Team League presented by Lenahan & Dempsey

Boys & Girls basketball teams divided into Divisions: Boys & Girls Varsity – JV, Junior High, 6th Grade and 4th/5th Grade (Grades are Fall 2024 Grades)

Games Will Be Played at Riverfront Sports and Scranton area gyms

Play against other teams to improve your basketball teams skills in a competitive and organized setting. Games will use PIAA Referees and will utilize a stopped clock.

Players Must be from same city, school or school district No all-star teams unless approved by Basketball Director Kevin Clark

2024 Format

NEPA Division (Varsity and Junior Varsity)

The NEPA division is designed for teams looking to gain experience playing together, build chemistry, face good competition and work on their team game during the off season.

Cost: $425 for 6 games (no playoffs)

Days of the Week: Tuesday or Thursday from late May to late July

Elite Division (Varsity and Junior Varsity)

The Elite division will be comprised of teams looking for a competitive summer season. Teams will be placed into pools for the regular season and execute a bracket style playoff to crown a champion.

*Teams may opt out of playoffs

Cost: $525 for 7+ games (6 regular season games + playoffs)

Days of the Week: Monday or Tuesday from late May to late July

Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee all scheduling requests, but will do our best to accommodate. We will make your schedule as competitive as we can, so that means you may be playing teams within your HS division from the regular season.

-4th/5th Division
-6th Division
-Junior High (7th and 8th) Division

Cost: $425 for 7+ games (6 regular season games + playoffs)

Nights of the Week: Games primarily Wednesdays or Thursdays from late May to late July. Possible Sunday games for overflow games.

Additional Info

• Coaches should plan to bring their own basketballs.  Basketballs will not be provided.
• Courts open 15 minutes prior to the first game of the evening.
