JUMP START (Ages 11-14)
The purpose of this program is to develop an environment for kids to learn the basic
movements of strength training so they can be prepared for the demands (cutting, jumping,
landing) of their sport. The program involves bodyweight/light external load training, sprinting,
proper landing mechanics, deceleration technique, med balls, sled, carries, and crawling.
Main Goal: Owning their body weight to help increase their athletic ability (Jump higher, run
faster, and throw/kick harder). Develop motor patterns, skills, structural integrity, balance,
coordination, motor skills, and strength. This will help set the foundation for long term athletic
development physically, mentally, and socially.
Program Duration: May 8th – June 23rd
Ages: 11, 12
Tuesday and Thursdays at 4:00
Ages 13, 14
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 4:00
LIMITED TO 10 PER GROUP
