Tara attended Dunmore High School where she is the all-time leading scorer in basketball with 2,211 career points. Tara then attended Penn State University where she majored in Sport & Recreation Management and was a member of the Lady Lions Basketball Team. Upon graduation, Tara completed her Masters of Liberal Arts degree at Lock Haven University while playing her final year of eligibility. Upon completion of her playing career, Tara became the Graduate Assistant and Director of Intramurals for Lock Haven Women’s Basketball. She has spent the past 23 years working in athletics and higher education wearing many hats including Assistant Director of Athletics and Recreation while coaching collegiate basketball at Marywood and Wilkes Universities.
