Field Hockey Staff:
Julie Trott: Coach Julie has been a part of NEPA Force since day 1! As the Director of Coaching for NEPA Force, Coach Julie is responsible for the curriculum and practice planning for all age groups, in addition to coaching all levels. A native of Long Island, Coach Julie played collegiately at Marywood University from 2008-2012. She currently is the Head Field Hockey Coach at her alma mater, Marywood, and is entering her 10th season on the staff there.
Kaitlyn Bevans: Coach Kait is a product of the NEPA field hockey scene, growing up in Hazleton, PA. She played collegiately at Wilkes from 2009-2013. Coach Kait has coached with NEPA Force since 2020 for U14-U19 age groups.
Emily Spangler: Coach Emily joined the NEPA Force coaching staff in the fall of 2022. The former All-American at East Stroudsburg University is the current Graduate Assistant at Misericordia Field Hockey. She has experience coaching all age levels.
Courtney Dywer: Coach Courtney is another product of the NEPA field hockey scene, graduating from Lackawanna Trail High School. Coach Courtney has collegiate playing experience at both the University of Scranton and Keystone College. She has a wealth of knowledge working with the U12-U19 age groups.
Coach Shawna Engle: Coach Shawna, a Lackawanna Trail High School graduate, has coached our U10-U12 groups since 2019! She is the current Lackawanna Trail Jr. High Field Hockey Coach.
Coach Rachel Yohn: Coach Rachel joined the NEPA Force Field Hockey staff in Winter 2023 to work specifically with our goalkeepers. Coach Rachel is a product of Warrior Run High School and a First Team All Conference GK from Marywood University.
Coach Lindsey Quinn: Coach Lindsey is another product of local field hockey, graduating from GAR in 2016, and playing collegiately for Coach Julie & Coach Kait at Marywood from 2016-2019. Coach Lindsey finished her career at Marywood Field Hockey leading them to a conference championship and NCAA Tournament berth in 2019, and being named Conference Player of the Year and All Region 1st team. She works with all age groups for NEPA Force, and currently teaches Health & PE in the Nanticoke School District.
